Gary Rung

Gary joined Pankow Associates in June of 2014. A proven sales performer and Team Leader in National Account Management,  Gary demonstrated these abilities during the previous few years as Sales Director for Crossmark's businesses at Walgreens. Gary personally managed the Personal Care, OTC and Beauty categories.  For eight years prior to that he helped Reckitt Benckiser and Adams Respiratory Therapeutics (Mucinex), which was acquired by Reckitt Benckiser in 2008, develop several of their consumer products into major OTC brands. As Executive Trade Director of the Mass Channel, Gary managed sales programs at Walgreens, Target Stores (also Team Leader), Costco, Walmart, ShopKo and other large and small customers. 
Gary's areas of expertise include forecasting, sales planning and reporting, building business relationships, creating custom programs/merchandising, and Profit & Loss management.  At Pankow Associates, Gary calls on Target, Walgreens, Spartan Nash, Ace Hardware, Dik Drug, Kehe Food Distributors, HD Smith, Roundy’s, Shopko, and ULTA Beauty. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Illinois State University in Normal, IL and also attended the University of Oregon School of Business.
